I really have no idea what needs work with this one. I kinda like it just how it is.
This is oil pastel and I used olive oil to work the colors into each other. Then I added a filter from photoshop.

This would looks awesome as a large painting on a wall in a dining room or living room! I think you should maybe make a copy of the layer, apply the filter only to that copy and then reduce the opacity of that filtered layer. Because right now it is a little too obvious that you slapped a Photoshop filter on it. Subtle is probably better.
